Sammamish Kiwanis Ski & Sport Swap – Registration Procedures

Kiwanis will provide the Ski Swap Inventory Sheet forms* and special Item Tags**. The vendor will then be assigned a Vendor Number upon delivery of the items he/she wishes to sell. Kiwanis receives a minimum of 30% of the sales but you can choose to donate a larger percentage. (100% Donated items do not need to be recorded on the Inventory Sheet. ~ One of our receiver volunteers will simply screen the items for compliance and tag them as Vendor #01 and put them on the sales floor)

Please see first the ACCEPTABLE MERCHANDISE GUIDELINES listed below.

Vendors will be responsible for filling out their own Inventory Sheet and Tags. Kiwanis will have volunteers to assist you as needed and then help you tag the items securely and tie footwear pairs together (leaving length to test walk). Before the KIWANIS VOLUNTEER takes your item(s) out to the selling floor they must review your form and corresponding tags for complete information, secure your signature and give you your copy, reminding you of the cash/close-out time from 2:30 to 3:30 PM same day.

Tag Attachment
We have to track the items by their tags and if the tag becomes separated the sale is lost and nobody is happy. For consistency and security, tag attachment will be done at check-in with help from Kiwanis volunteers.

Ski Swap Inventory Sheet forms are available on our website (www.Sammamishkiwanis.org) for those who wish to get a head start on registering their sales items. In the “Forms” section of our website you will find the Ski Swap Inventory Sheet form. You may print out this form. Fill out the header information and items you wish to sell with their description and price (leaving Vendor Number field blank). PLEASE MAKE A COPY OF YOUR COMPLETED INVENTORY SHEET AND BRING BOTH COPIES TO CHECK-IN. We will use it to complete your registration process. You will be assigned a Vendor Number and provided Item Tags** at check-in.

** You may print your own Item Tags if you want to prepare them in advance. Please note you will be assigned your vendor number at check-in, so you will need to leave your Vendor number field blank. You may pre-fill in your Item Number, Item Description and Price on your tags. Prepare ONE tag per PAIR of Skis, Poles, or Boots.

DO NOT ATTACH TAGS TO YOUR MERCHANDISE PRIOR TO CHECK-IN.
